This exceptional value tour offers travelers a memorable eight-day journey on the fabled Amalfi Coast, where picturesque villages painted in fairy-tale pastel colors cascade down dramatic mountains to the sea. With Vietri sul Mare as a base, a town famous for its “Vietri” ceramics, visit five UNESCO World Heritage List sites: the historic city center of Naples, the archeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, the Greek ruins at Paestum, and the spectacular Amalfi Coast itself. The tour will also include a visit to a farm famous for the regional specialty buffalo mozzarella (mozzarella di bufala), a ferry boat ride across the Bay of Naples to the island of Capri, and time in Positano and Sorrento, two of the Amalfi Coast’s most beautiful towns. $3,595 per person single or double occupancy.
