Please join us for live music in the galleries, as Gulia and Alexander Gurevich bring their classical expertise and world-class talents to SBMA. We are honored to have them perform from 5 - 7 pm.


Gulia Gurevich

For the past 10 years, Gulia has played violin/viola with the award-winning Prima Trio, performing across the US and abroad with the group and major orchestras. She has taught master classes, co-founded a music academy, and served as an invited panelist to jury competitions. Currently, she is pursuing her MM/DMA degree from UCSB.


Alexander Gurevich

Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, Alexander completed his studies at the Manhattan School of Music in NY before moving to California to attend UCSB and USC. He has performed with the viola sections of symphonies and chamber ensembles in the US and abroad before joining the staff of the New West Symphony Orchestra in Thousand Oaks, where he currently resides with his wife and musical partner, violinist Gulia Gurevich.
