From the British Isles to the coast of France, this Celtic Lands itinerary explores the lands and seas traversed by the Iron Age tribes known as the Celts, and the area’s cultural identity continues to be rooted in Celtic folklore, language, and heritage. Le Boreal is a small and new ship that can call in ports inaccessible to larger ships. The tour includes the seldom-visited Inner Hebridean Islands of Scotland, a ride through the Scottish Highlands aboard The Jacobite steam train, a day in Dublin, onboard lectures, and visits to historic castles and to the D-day beaches of Normandy with Dwight David Eisenhower II, grandson of General and President Dwight D.
