Dallas and Fort Worth with Charles Wylie, SBMA Curator of Photography and New Media

If you have not been to Dallas and Fort Worth lately, you are in for a delightful eye‐ and mind‐opening surprise: in the past three decades these two dynamic cities in North Texas have created one of the world’s most exciting destinations for art and culture. On this special trip exclusively crafted for Santa Barbara Museum of Art members, you will enjoy special access to several major private collections of modern and contemporary art and stellar museums, galleries, and the Dallas Cowboys art collection. The trip will be led by SBMA Curator of Photography and New Media, Charles Wylie. From 1996‐2011, Charlie was the Dallas Museum of Art’s Lupe Murchison Curator of Contemporary Art and from 2011‐16 a Dallas‐based independent curator and writer. Charlie’s twenty years in DFW ensure extraordinary and special access to individuals, collections, private homes and galleries.
