Enjoy autumn foliage at its best on a tour that begins in western Massachusetts, focuses on the area of The Berkshires and the Hudson River Valley, and ends in New York City. Tour MASS MoCA, visit the Norman Rockwell Museum, artists’ studios, and Edith Wharton’s country house in Lenox, which she designed. A highlight will be the new exhibition center at the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown that was designed by Tadao Ando and overlooks a three-tiered reflecting pool and extensive new award-winning landscaping. Continue to the Hudson River area in New York to visit Dia:Beacon and the outstanding sculpture park at Storm King Art Center. Stops will be made at other historic sites and great houses along the Hudson on the way to New York City. An art historian will lead this special tour that is custom- designed for SBMA Members.
