Members-Only Bus Trip: Getty Villa and Tour of The Gold Emperor from Aventicum

Join us on an SBMA Members-only bus trip to the Getty Villa! Enjoy a docent-led tour of The Gold Emperor from Aventicum, one of the most spectacular archaeological discoveries of recent times. Following the tour there will be free time to explore the Villa, which holds 4,000 years of ancient art, from the Stone Age to the final days of the Roman Empire, and works of art from museums around the world, including from Getty's own collections. This tour will also offer time to enjoy the Villa's largest garden, featuring a reflecting pool, colonnaded walkways, and views of the Pacific Ocean Gardens. Enjoy lunch on your own at the fantastic Museum café and time to connect with other SBMA Members.
