Ireland: The Emerald Isle, Land of Saints & Scholars featuring two nights aboard Belmond's new Grand Hibernian Train

Ireland is known for its intriguing history, its hauntingly beautiful landscapes, and for the wit and spirit of its people. With more the air of a house party than a tour, this trip will take travelers behind the scenes into private homes and gardens that range from medieval castles to Georgian townhouses. Customized for SBMA Members, it will begin in Shannon, end in Dublin, visit Adare, Limerick, Belle Isle, and Ballyfin, and includes two nights aboard Belmond’s brand new luxury train. Accommodations include Dunraven Arms, where we will have dinner with the Countess of Dunraven in her home; Crom Castle, where Lord Erne will host us for a special dinner; Ballyfin, which was recently named the best hotel in the world by Conde Nast Traveler; the new luxury Belmond Grand Hibernian train; and the classical Merrion Hotel in Dublin. The tour will be led by Dubliner Marianne Gorman, known to and loved by past SBMA travelers to Ireland.
